IDIBC SHINE AWARDS 2018

We are honoured to have been presented an IDIBC SHINE Award for our West Point Grey residence.  Congratulation to all the RIDs who received SHINE Awards this year for their beautifully executed projects!  Well done!!

W L HOMES / 2018 Summer Issue

Our West Vancouver waterfront residence is featured in the summer issue of Western Living Homes.  Earlier this year the project received an award of merit from the IDIBC Shine Awards.  Much appreciation to WL and to Rosemary Poole for her well crafted text.

We are delighted to have received recognition from the IDIBC SHINE Awards, for our West Vancouver Waterfront Residence project. Congratulations to all the SHINE Award recipients.  There is so much great work being done by the Registered Interior Design community, I'm very proud to be a member of this great professional association. 

IDIBC Shine Awards

During design week in Vancouver the Interior Design Institute of British Columbia held it's Shine Awards of Excellence Gala.  IDIBC's annual Awards of Excellence celebrate the outstanding design achievements of BC's professional interior design community.  We're very pleased to announce that RBI received an award for our Deans Knight Capital Management  project.  
We would like thank all of the IDC + IDIBC organizing members, who's hard work make this event possible.  Congratulations to all of this years registered interior designer recipients!

WL Designers of the Year

Being named Interior Designer of the Year is such a great honour, and I am truly grateful to WesternLiving and the panel of esteemed judges for this privilege.   
I would also like to express gratitude to my wonderful clients for allowing me to create these beautiful spaces in their homes, and to everyone who was involved in helping make these projects a reality. 

I must also recognize the other interior designers who were shortlisted.  I am delighted to be included in such a talented professional group.
For me interiors should reflect an effortless elegance, that is not only easy to live with, but also easy to live in.  I believe our projects consistently show this to be a guiding principal.

KOKO

Last year we designed KOKO Restaurant + Bar, located in Opus Hotel Montreal. We've been very pleased with all the recognition received. Notably the award from International Restaurant + Hotel Awards, for Best Conceptual Design. The concept jumping off point was the Art Nouveau building housing the spaces. We channelled the decadent salons (of that time) like those frequented by Oscar Wilde and incorporated the exotic drawings of Aubrey Beardsley all in a vocabulary of today. Many thanks to the team that made this project such a success. With a special nod to Nettie Hew, Jon Gieser + Chad Falkenberg, who worked tirelessly and always in good humour.
